My baggage is oversized because I’m hand carrying the well pump with me so we can potentially have the bore hole well drilled this trip. The baggage check-in attendant initially refused to take it because the pump box was taped to the luggage.
After three different luggage “experts” evaluated it, they still wanted to separate the box from the bag….charging me another $200 for the third bag (I already paid $200 for oversized). I waited patiently for an answer I could live with…5 minutes later the manager came over with a large plastic garment-type bag and said if I could fit most of it in there, he would accept it.
Over the first hurdle! Now lunch (yes, I brought Panera with me).
